Terms of Service for hut.ee
The owner of the online store hut.ee (hereinafter referred to as the “Online Store”) is HUT Eesti OÜ (registry code 12464029), located at Tartu maantee 101, Tallinn, 10112, Republic of Estonia.
Validity of the Sales Agreement, Product, and Price Information
The terms of sale apply when purchasing goods from the Online Store.
The prices of products sold in the Online Store are displayed alongside the products. A delivery fee is added to the price of the product. All prices in the Online Store are in euros.
The delivery fee depends on the buyer’s location and the delivery method. The delivery fee will be displayed to the buyer when placing the order.
Product information is provided in the Online Store directly alongside the product description.
Placing an Order
To order a product, you must add the desired items to your shopping cart. To complete the order, fill in the required fields and select the appropriate delivery method. The total cost, which can be securely paid via the following payment methods, will then be displayed on the screen:
- Estonian bank payments: Swedbank, SEB, Luminor, LHV, Coop Pank
- Buy now, pay later services: Indivy, Liisi ID
Payments are processed by Maksekeskus AS. Payments are made outside the Online Store in a secure environment. The seller has no access to the customer’s banking or credit card details. The contract takes effect once the amount due is credited to the Online Store’s bank account.
The owner of the Online Store is the data controller and forwards the personal data necessary for making payments to the authorized processor Maksekeskus AS.
Delivery
Products are shipped to the following countries: Estonia, Finland.
The buyer can choose the following delivery methods: delivery via Viaexpress/Greencarrier logistics or pickup.
The delivery costs are borne by the buyer and the relevant price information is displayed next to the delivery method.
Products are generally delivered within 7 working days from the date of the sales contract. In exceptional cases, the delivery may take up to 45 calendar days.
Right of Withdrawal
After receiving the order, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract made in the Online Store within 14 days.
To use the 14-day return right, the ordered product must not be used in any other way than is necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.
If the product has been used for purposes other than those necessary to ascertain its nature, characteristics, and functioning, or if it shows signs of use or wear, the Online Store has the right to reduce the amount refunded.
The product must be returned in its original condition. To return the product, the buyer must submit a withdrawal statement and send it to the email address info@hut.ee no later than 14 days after receiving the product.
Right to File a Complaint
The Online Store is responsible for any non-conformity of the product sold to the buyer or for defects that existed at the time of delivery and that occur within two years of delivery to the buyer. During the first six months of delivery, it is presumed that the defect existed at the time of delivery. It is the responsibility of the Online Store to prove otherwise if the defect did not exist at the time of delivery.
The buyer has the right to file a complaint with the Online Store within two months of discovering the defect by sending an email to info@hut.ee or calling +372 513 8297.
Direct Marketing and Processing of Personal Data
The Online Store uses the personal data entered by the buyer only for processing the order and delivering the product to the buyer. The Online Store forwards personal data to the transport service provider for the purpose of delivering the goods.
The Online Store sends newsletters and offers to the buyer’s email address only if the buyer has given their consent by entering their email address on the website and expressing a wish to receive direct mail notifications.
The buyer can unsubscribe from emails containing offers and newsletters at any time by notifying us via email or by following the instructions in the email containing the offers.
Dispute Resolution
If the buyer has any complaints regarding the Online Store, they should be sent to info@hut.ee or by calling +372 513 8297.
If the buyer and the Online Store cannot resolve the dispute by agreement, the buyer can contact the Consumer Disputes Committee. The terms of the procedure and submission of complaints can be found at https://ttja.ee/tarbijavaidluste-komisjon. The Consumer Disputes Committee is competent to resolve disputes arising from the contract between the buyer and the Online Store. The review of the buyer’s complaint in the committee is free of charge.
